The role

We have an exciting opportunity available to allow you to play a key role in supporting victims and the wider unit through a varied and meaningful administrative role. You’ll help ensure services run efficiently and effectively by managing victim‑related data, supporting case processes, and providing clear advice and information to members of the public. Working closely with colleagues, partner agencies, and stakeholders, you’ll contribute directly to the delivery of a supportive, responsive, and professional service.

What you’ll do

  • Receive and proactively manage enquiries via telephone, text, and email, including contact from members of the public, ensuring responses are professional, sensitive, and appropriately routed while managing expectations.
  • Input, extract, and manage data across computer systems within required timescales to support the effective flow of information and delivery of victim services.
  • Receive, process, and assign information to the appropriate case, ensuring records are accurate, up to date, and actions are completed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain section records and performance data using paper‑based and electronic systems, ensuring information is logged accurately and can be retrieved as required to support service objectives.
  • Provide a document creation and maintenance service, utilising a full range of word‑processing functions to produce professional documentation and tables.

What you’ll bring

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, enabling effective engagement with members of the public, colleagues, and partner agencies at all levels.
  • Confidence using the telephone daily, including de‑escalating situations and providing structured, professional responses.
  • Experience of working within a multi‑disciplinary team across a range of functions in a complex environment.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent qualification), or relevant demonstrable experience.
  • Proven ability in planning and organising, including managing competing priorities, working to tight deadlines, and achieving performance targets.
  • Experience of working within a set framework, producing work that meets required standards and criteria.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyse and respond accurately to complex issues within agreed timescales.
  • Ability to work accurately and to deadline, delivering consistent results across varying and competing demands.
  • Experience of working effectively as part of a team to meet deadlines, alongside the ability to work autonomously using your own initiative.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
