Role Description
The Video Annotation Specialist (Remote) is a full-time role responsible for reviewing, labeling, and annotating video content to support AI training and data quality initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include:

The specialist will collaborate with project managers and quality reviewers to clarify requirements, meet deadlines, and maintain high accuracy across large datasets. The role also involves:
- Using internal tools and platforms for annotation
- Reporting issues or ambiguities in the content
- Suggesting improvements to annotation workflows
This is a remote position, allowing the specialist to work from any location while adhering to set schedules and performance standards.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured annotation guidelines with high accuracy.
- Proficiency with basic computer tools and web-based platforms; comfortable working with video playback and annotation interfaces.
- Solid analytical and observational skills to identify objects, actions, and contextual cues within video content.
- Effective written communication skills for documenting findings, reporting issues, and collaborating with distributed teams.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet productivity and quality targets.
- Previous experience in data labeling, video annotation, content moderation, or related digital operations is beneficial.
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or data services projects is a plus but not required.
- Comfort working with diverse, global teams and openness to feedback and iterative improvement.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g., media, IT, data science) is an advantage.
