Who are we?

We are a team of driven individuals who strongly believe in the positive impact gaming and AI will have on the learning world. Today, we're helping enterprise businesses in high-risk industries move to immersive, gamified safety training that far outperforms its traditional counterparts, so every frontline worker goes home safely. If you strive to work in a creative and high-output environment, read on.

Why this role exists

Customers increasingly ask us for video: a short film to launch a new campaign, a reconstruction of an incident for a toolbox talk, a scene to sit inside a training module. Today those requests compete for time with everything else our delivery team does.

We want one person who owns them end to end. You'll use AI video tools alongside traditional editing to turn a brief into a finished, multi-shot film, quickly and to a standard a safety director at a global operator would put in front of thousands of workers. You'll sit in our Delivery team, working directly with the people who run our customer programmes.

What you'll do

  • Make videos for customers on demand. Take a brief from Delivery (often a procedure, a rule or an incident report), shape it into a storyboard, and deliver a finished film, typically one to five minutes long.
  • Build video into our training modules. Create scenes, openers and incident reconstructions that sit inside Pixaera's decision-led modules, set in the worlds our learners know: oil and gas facilities, open-pit mines, construction sites and data centres.
  • Create promotional content. Produce short films our customers use to launch programmes to their workforce, and that we use to show what Pixaera can do.
  • Make internal video. Product walkthroughs, explainers and team content when we need them.
  • Own the craft from shot to cut. Generate, select and edit footage; keep characters, PPE, equipment and environments consistent from shot to shot; add voiceover, sound and captions; and version for different languages and channels.
  • Make it repeatable. Turn what works into prompts, presets and templates so the tenth video takes a fraction of the time the first one did.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

In your first six months, success looks like owning the customer video queue, shipping to an agreed turnaround, and building a library of reusable looks and characters the whole team can draw on.

The hard parts

AI video still fights you on continuity, and our subject matter is unforgiving: a worker's PPE, a valve or a permit procedure has to be right in every shot, or a safety professional will spot it immediately. Requests also arrive on customer timelines, so you'll sometimes juggle several briefs at once and need to push back, scope down or ask for clarity early.

What we're looking for

The single most important thing is your portfolio. We're not looking for impressive seven-second AI clips. We want to see multi-shot work that runs for minutes and holds together, because that's what proves you can edit and tell a story, not just generate.

  • Multi-shot, minutes-long video you've made. At least one or two pieces that run a minute or more and are built from many shots, with AI-generated footage as a significant part of the work.
  • Strong editing instincts. Pacing that keeps people watching, framing that puts attention where it belongs, and continuity that holds across cuts: same character, same kit, same light, same world.
  • Fluency with current AI video and image tools, and the judgement to know when a shot needs regenerating, fixing in the edit or replacing altogether.
  • A solid traditional editor's toolkit, such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut, plus working comfort with sound, voiceover and captions.
  • Storytelling from a brief. You can take a dry document and find the scene, the tension and the moment that makes someone care.
  • Speed with judgement. You can turn work round quickly without letting quality slip, and you're comfortable taking feedback from customers through our Delivery team.
