The Video Content Producer

The Video Content Producer brings KAUST’s stories to life in post-production — shaping raw footage into polished, brand-aligned content that communicates the University’s research, people, and mission to audiences across digital and institutional channels. The role combines strong editorial judgement with technical expertise across editing, colour grading, and motion graphics.

Working from production briefs under the direction of the Multimedia and Brand Production Manager, the Video Content Producer manages video projects from creative concept through to final delivery, contributes actively to pre-production planning, and serves as the team’s primary owner of motion graphics and 2D animation. The role requires a strong editorial sensibility, precise technical craft, and the discipline to manage multiple projects simultaneously to tight deadlines.

The Video Content Producer is expected to engage proactively in the team’s creative planning pipeline, maintain rigorous DAM and workflow discipline, and bring genuine creative investment to every production. Occasional out-of-office hours working will be required, for which overtime will be paid.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Production

  • Review and analyse production briefs and participate in briefing sessions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to storyboards, editorial structures, mood boards, and creative references.
  • Identify and retrieve suitable archival footage and licensed media assets.
  • Coordinate with production teams regarding shoot requirements, technical specifications, and footage handover.

Editing and Post-Production

  • Edit and produce video content including documentaries, interviews, promotional videos, research communications, and social media content.
  • Apply transitions, motion graphics, visual effects, and animations.
  • Produce 2D motion graphics and animated sequences.
  • Perform professional colour correction and colour grading.
  • Mix and master audio, including music, voice-over, dialogue, and ambient sound.
  • Prepare final video projects in appropriate formats for web, social media, YouTube, LED screens, and other channels.
  • Manage multiple editing projects while maintaining quality and meeting delivery deadlines.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
