About Global Cycling Network
Global Cycling Network (GCN) is one of the biggest cycling channels in the world, with millions of people watching our videos across YouTube and social media. From testing bikes and taking on challenges to travelling to races and telling stories from the world of cycling, no two shoots are quite the same.
About the Role
We're looking for a Video Creator to join our production team in Bath.
It's a hands-on role. You'll be out filming, riding with presenters, finding the best shots, helping shape ideas and then bringing everything together in the edit.
You don't need to be an expert cyclist or have worked in cycling before. We're interested in people who can make great video, have good ideas and are excited about creating content that people actually want to watch.
Responsibilities
You'll work across GCN's video content, from studio productions in Bath to shoots around the UK and overseas.
You'll be involved from the start of an idea through to the finished film - helping decide how a story should look and feel, filming it, and editing it into something engaging.
- Film and edit video for GCN's YouTube and social channels
- Shoot both in our Bath studio and on location in the UK and overseas
- Ride and film alongside presenters, capturing action and behind-the-scenes footage
- Help develop new video ideas, formats and ways of telling stories
- Find creative ways to make each video look and feel great
- Work with presenters, producers, editors, graphics and audience teams to bring ideas to life
- Film sport, bikes and fast-moving subjects in a range of locations and conditions
- Look after cameras, sound, lighting and other production equipment
- Help create videos that inform, entertain and inspire cyclists around the world

Requirements
Essential
- Experience filming video content, whether professionally or through your own projects
- Good working knowledge of video editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar
- Confidence using cameras, sound and lighting equipment
- Comfortable cycling on the road while filming
- A valid UK driving licence
- A valid passport and the right to work in the UK
It would be great if you also have
- An interest in cycling and the wider cycling world
- Experience filming sport, action or fast-moving subjects
- An understanding of what makes a good YouTube video
- Experience with drones, action cameras or gimbals
- A showreel or examples of video work you're proud of
