Role Description
This is a contract, hybrid Video Editor role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for some work from home. The Video Editor will work closely with creative and strategy teams to edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, campaigns, events, and personal brand projects. The role involves collaborating on storyboarding and visual narratives, maintaining brand consistency, and delivering content on schedule that aligns with strategic goals such as engagement, visibility, and conversion. The Video Editor will also be responsible for:
- Organizing media assets
- Maintaining an efficient post-production workflow
- Adapting content based on performance insights and client feedback
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including experience shaping narrative structure and pacing.
- Skills in Video Color Grading and visual refinement to ensure consistent, high-quality aesthetics across projects.
- Skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create on-brand titles, overlays, and visual elements suited to different platforms.
- Familiarity with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is highly beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow brand guidelines, and comfort working with creative direction and feedback are essential.
- Experience creating social-first video content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, including vertical and short-form formats, is advantageous.
- Good communication skills, reliable time management, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup with London-based teams are important.
- Relevant professional experience in video editing for marketing, branding, or events; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating past work is required.
