GoHenry is the money app giving kids a head start in life as they learn to earn, save, spend and invest – all with parental oversight. Having pioneered a new category in financial education when it launched in 2012, over 2.3 million kids have now learnt money skills with GoHenry.

With the ultimate goal to make every kid smart with money, GoHenry believes the best way to learn is to get hands-on experience with money.

We’re looking for a Video Editor to join our Marketing team in London and help bring the GoHenry brand to life. Reporting to the Manager of Design, you’ll create content across social, paid advertising, TV, web and audio.

You’ll be part of a close-knit Marketing and Creative function, working with marketers, writers, designers and project managers. As our go-to specialist for video and motion, you’ll bring creative ideas to briefs and turn brand and campaign thinking into compelling content.

From quick-turnaround social content and animation to larger brand campaigns, you’ll be hands-on from ideation and storyboarding through to editing, animation and final delivery. We’re looking for someone with strong creative instincts, a great eye for craft and storytelling, and the confidence to take a brief and run with it.

You tick each of our Video Editor-must-haves:

  • 5+ years’ experience in video editing, motion design or related creative roles, ideally within family, fintech or lifestyle brands
  • Strong motion graphics and editing skills, with experience creating engaging work for fast-paced social channels
  • Experience delivering creative across TV, social and digital, with exposure to radio/audio production beneficial
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong social-native content, including UGC, Reels, TikTok and performance creative
  • Experience managing voiceover recordings and post-production through to final delivery
  • Solid grounding in design fundamentals, including layout, visual hierarchy and typography
  • A confident communicator who can clearly explain creative choices and work effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to take a brief or established creative idea and translate it into compelling video and motion
  • Comfortable using judgement to solve creative challenges, adapting existing approaches where needed
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to manage work independently, seeking input at key stages
  • On-set production experience across photo and video is a bonus

Additional Expectations:

  • Produce high-quality creative work, and bring a solid understanding of design and layout
  • Show excellence in Premiere, After Effects, Figma, Microsoft Office, Google Slides
  • Develop ideas with a strong sense of storytelling, visual composition, and timing, with the ability to evoke emotions and capture the audience's attention through video editing and animation
  • A self-starter who is motivated to kickstart their own projects, welcomes challenges, seeks feedback from others, shows perseverance on long-term goals, and changing circumstances, and generally goes above and beyond in their work
  • Develop and evolve our Performance and Brand TV Marketing
