Position: Video Editor
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50 - $90/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Review video footage of robotic arms performing tasks, following detailed annotation and grading guidelines.
- Identify and label actions, object interactions, transitions, task outcomes, and errors within video segments.
- Apply frame-by-frame analysis, timing awareness, and continuity judgment to determine action sequences.
- Use dedicated annotation tools to mark video events precisely and consistently.
- Flag unclear footage, visual inconsistencies, or ambiguous moments and document observations in concise notes.
- Contribute to quality control by reviewing annotations and providing constructive feedback.

- Professional or academic background in video editing, post-production, filmmaking, audiovisual production, or a related field.
- Experience reviewing footage closely for timing, continuity, movement, and visual consistency.
- Familiarity with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, or similar tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy during repetitive frame-level review.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to document visual observations clearly and objectively.
