Video Editor Application

To apply for this role, please email your CV, Cover Letter, and Showreel or Portfolio to george@subdial.com with a subject line of “Video Editor Application - NAME”.

About the Role

We're looking for a Social-first Video Editor to join our growing video team at Subdial, reporting into our Head of Creative. This role will be key in driving momentum for our original video output across short-form social media channels and longer form YouTube content. You will have a natural eye for engaging storytelling, demonstrate a strong grasp of social-first video, and an organised editorial mindset when planning content for our collector community. An independent self-starter to continuously develop new formats and structures with a close eye on video analytics, while maintaining brand guidelines and tone-of-voice.

Core Responsibilities

  • Edit hyper-engaging social first content for YouTube, Instagram and TikTok; both recutting long-form video and creating bespoke short-form content.
  • Work with Head of Creative to develop brand guidelines and formats for Subdial's video.
  • Support with filming.
  • Monitor social metrics and adapt edits in response.
  • File and asset management.
  • Confidently manage your own schedule and keep track of deadlines.
  • Direct ownership and responsibility over the Subdial video process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Founded in 2019, Subdial has quickly become one of the fastest-growing luxury businesses in the UK. Subdial combines a custom-built technology platform with proprietary market data that powers the Bloomberg-Subdial Watch Index to enable collectors to build their collections and trade with transparency. We work with customers over their lifetime, from newbie to seasoned collector, building relationships that go beyond watches to the stories behind them and the communities they form. Ultimately we believe trading should be as enjoyable as the watches themselves.
