We’re looking for a talented and versatile Video Editor to join Tropic’s in-house Creative Team. This full-time, hybrid role will see you crafting high-quality video content that showcases our brand’s beauty, purpose, and innovation. From punchy social clips to longer-form brand films, you’ll bring our story to life through visually stunning, polished, and impactful video work.
Reporting into our Senior Video Editor and working closely with the Creative, Design, and Marketing teams, you’ll play a key part in ensuring Tropic’s video content is consistently best-in-class and aligned with our mission of doing good beyond beauty.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit a wide range of video content, including brand campaigns, social media clips, ambassador features, and event films.
- Collaborate with the Creative, Design, and Marketing teams to understand project objectives and bring ideas to life.
- Ensure all video content adheres to Tropic’s brand identity and maintains the highest quality standards.
- Support the Senior Video Editor in developing a cohesive visual and editing style across all channels.
- Manage and organise raw footage, edit timelines, and maintain clear file structures and archives.
- Create social-first edits for the @tropicskincare channels around our product launches, campaigns and events.
- Optimise videos for different formats and platforms (social, web, internal use, etc.).
- Assist with colour grading, sound design, and post-production workflows.
- Deliver projects efficiently, meeting deadlines without compromising creativity or quality.
- Attend company events/shoots to assist with real-time editing and content turnaround.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in video editing, ideally within a brand, agency, or creative production environment, working with luxury brands.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across formats and styles.
- Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.).
- Solid understanding of post-production processes, including sound design, motion graphics, and colour grading.
- Full understanding of social media platforms, formats and sizes, best practices, and have a social-first approach to editing.
- Videography experience/skills are a real plus.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to take and apply feedback constructively.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
