Role Description
This contract Video Editor role is a hybrid position based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with the flexibility to work partly from home. The Video Editor will plan, edit, and assemble video content for digital channels, marketing campaigns, and storytelling initiatives, ensuring all deliverables align with Equity House’s brand and mission. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing raw footage, selecting and trimming clips, applying transitions and effects, syncing audio, and collaborating with creative and marketing teams to refine narratives. The role also involves color grading, integrating motion graphics and static graphics, and preparing files for various platforms and formats. The Video Editor will participate in feedback sessions, maintain organized project files, and meet agreed timelines and quality standards.

- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including managing footage, timelines, and exports.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, mood, and brand alignment.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling and improve viewer engagement.
- Ability to work in hybrid settings in the London Area, United Kingdom, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar).
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling video content for diverse audiences.
- Relevant experience in digital content creation, media, or social-impact projects; formal education in film, media, or related field is a plus but not required.
