🎬 We’re looking for a YouTube Video Editor to work with The Car Market
The Car Market is expanding into long-form YouTube content, and we’re looking for a creative editor who can turn our automotive footage into engaging, high-retention videos.
We already have an established social-media audience of over 100,000 followers and will be producing content including:
- Car reviews and comparisons
- Buying experiences and ownership advice
- Automotive challenges
- Behind-the-scenes videos
- A Podcast on industry insights and discussions
The role will involve:
- Editing full-length YouTube videos
- Creating strong openings that capture attention
- Removing unnecessary pauses and maintaining good pacing
- Using B-roll, music, sound effects and graphics effectively
- Colour-correcting footage and improving audio
- Adding titles, captions and on-screen information
- Helping shape a consistent editing style for the channel
- Potentially creating short TikTok, Reel and YouTube Shorts clips from each video

We’re looking for someone who:
- Understands YouTube retention and storytelling
- Has experience with Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- Can make automotive content feel polished, energetic and professional
- Pays close attention to detail
- Can meet agreed deadlines and communicate reliably
- Is open to feedback and ongoing collaboration
Automotive editing experience is preferred but not essential. A genuine interest in cars and an understanding of popular automotive YouTube channels would be a major advantage.
