Video Editor
Position: Video Editor (AI Video Annotation)
Type: Contractor

About the Opportunity
We are seeking Video Editors to support a video annotation project involving footage of robotic arms completing real-world tasks. You’ll use your expertise in video analysis, timing, continuity, and visual judgment to create accurate training data for next-generation AI systems. No prior AI, robotics, or data annotation experience is required — your visual and editing expertise is what matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Review robotic-arm video footage using detailed annotation guidelines.
- Identify and label actions, object interactions, transitions, outcomes, and errors.
- Apply frame-by-frame analysis to determine when actions begin, change, and end.
- Use annotation tools to mark video events precisely and consistently.
- Flag unclear footage and document visual observations and ambiguities.
- Review annotations and provide quality-control feedback when requested.
- Complete assigned batches accurately and within deadlines.

Required Qualifications
- Professional or academic background in video editing, filmmaking, post-production, or audiovisual production.
- Strong understanding of timing, continuity, movement, and visual consistency.
- Excellent attention to detail during frame-level video review.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to follow detailed guidelines consistently and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, or similar tools.
- Previous experience with video annotation, visual QA, AI training, or robotics.
- Experience reviewing footage for detailed timing and continuity issues.
Compensation
- Competitive compensation of $50–$90/hour.
- Independent contractor engagement.
- Fully remote and flexible project-based work.
- Approximately 250 positions available.
