Woolly Mammoth is hiring a mid-weight video editor to join full-time.
We are a remote-first studio based around London. UK-based candidates only.
The right candidate will pride themselves on two crucial abilities: telling stories, and holding attention.
You’ll need:
- 4+ years of experience editing videos for an agency, in-house or freelance.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- A diverse portfolio of work, with a particular emphasis on narrative, documentary and story-driven projects.
- A positive, can-do attitude. We’re a small company, and everybody mucks in to do what it takes to get the job done (even the boring bits). In return, you’ll be working closely with the founders and get real exposure into a growing business.
Bonus points if you have:
- Proficiency with videography, photography, or motion graphics.
- A portfolio of short-form, social-first work, in addition to your narrative pieces.
- A genuine interest in technology, startups and innovation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
