Job Description
This role is focused on crafting a short, cinematic opening film for a diving centre’s website, designed to immerse viewers in the emotional journey of a first underwater breath. The project requires transforming provided raw surface and underwater footage into a 20–24 second film that feels intimate, artistic, and evocative, rather than a standard tourism promotion. The narrative should guide viewers from curiosity and hesitation to the transformative experience of breathing underwater, with the diver’s identity kept mostly anonymous to encourage audience identification. The final piece will be a key visual element for a new website, with a delivery deadline in October 2026 and the possibility of future projects.
Deliverables
- Edit a 20–24 second cinematic film using provided raw footage (surface and underwater)
- Develop a narrative arc from curiosity to wonder and freedom, focusing on the emotional impact of the first breath underwater
- Apply advanced colour grading to enhance mood and atmosphere
- Design immersive sound, including authentic scuba breathing and bubble effects
- Ensure the diver remains mostly anonymous throughout the film
- Deliver the final video in web-optimized formats by the specified deadline

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
