Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at ForbesParish Ltd. The Video Editor will assemble, edit, and refine video footage for a variety of formats, including social content, branded films, and promotional pieces. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing raw material, selecting key shots, applying transitions, adding audio, and ensuring smooth pacing and strong narrative flow. The role involves close collaboration with producers, videographers, and clients to interpret briefs, maintain brand consistency, and meet project deadlines. The Video Editor will also perform color grading, integrate motion graphics, export deliverables in required formats, and contribute creative ideas to enhance visual storytelling.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production to manage footage from initial assembly through final delivery.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure cohesive, cinematic, and brand-appropriate visual tone.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create and integrate titles, overlays, and visual effects.
- Advanced knowledge of industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent) and color tools (e.g., DaVinci Resolve).
- Understanding of storytelling, pacing, sound design, and visual composition for digital and social platforms.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines consistently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with creative teams and clients.
- Relevant experience in commercial, branded content, or agency environments; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating cinematic editing and motion-led storytelling is required.
