Role Description
This is a contract, on-site Video Editor role based in Norwich. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into engaging and coherent videos that showcase Academy of Robotics’ products, projects, and brand story. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and assembling video clips, applying color grading, adding motion graphics and visual elements, and preparing exports for various platforms. The role involves working closely with creative, marketing, and technical teams to translate complex technical concepts into accessible visual content. The Video Editor will maintain consistent visual standards, manage multiple projects and deadlines, and ensure all deliverables align with brand guidelines and project objectives.

- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including assembling footage, audio syncing, and narrative structuring.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with the ability to enhance visual style and maintain consistency across projects.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, overlays, animations, and other visual elements.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Ability to collaborate on-site with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management, with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant experience in technology, robotics, or engineering-focused content is an advantage.
- Formal education or training in film, media production, digital design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
