Eleniak

Eleniak is a venture studio founded by Shahbaz Khokhar. We're building brands across eCommerce and marketing. We launch products, take on performance clients, and build proprietary AI and internal systems to do it faster than teams ten times our size. You'd work directly with operators who've scaled real brands and real revenue:

  • $3.7M+ eCommerce brand launched in the first 3 months
  • $200M+ client revenue in a performance marketing agency
  • Built internal AI + creative production systems used across the businesses

About the Role

This is an AI-first editing role. Not a traditional editing job with AI bolted on. A large share of what we produce is generated, extended or enhanced with AI, and we're looking for someone already working that way rather than someone curious about it. If your workflow still ends at the timeline, this won't be the right fit.

You'd start as an editor and grow into a creative strategist. That's the actual path here, and we'll train the strategy side. Editing software can be taught too. What can't is taste, pace and an instinct for what makes someone stop scrolling, so that's what we're hiring for.

If you already think in hooks and retention rather than transitions and colour grades, there's room to build here. If you want a brief handed to you and no view on whether the ad will work, this won't fit either.

What the Work Looks Like

From Day One

  • Cut direct-response video ads for Meta. Short-form, hook-led, built to convert rather than to win awards.
  • Generate and edit AI video and audio as a core part of production, not an occasional experiment. We use Seedance, ElevenLabs, Magnific, Higgsfield and others, and the stack changes as better tools appear.
  • Produce variations at volume. AI is what lets one editor ship what used to take a team, and that's the whole point of the role.
  • Turn briefs around fast. Speed is a real advantage here, not a compromise.
  • Learn to read performance on your own work. Hook rate, hold rate, CTR. We'll teach you what to look for.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

As You Grow Into It

  • Writing the briefs yourself rather than just executing them.
  • Owning which AI tools we use, testing what's new and deciding what earns a place in the stack.
  • Coordinating our wider editor pool and running weekly post-production training.

What We're Looking For

We care about ability, not years of experience. What matters is the work you can point at and how you think about why it performed.

Essential

  • Demonstrable AI video and audio work in your portfolio. Generation, upscaling, voice cloning, motion, variation testing. We'll want to see it and hear how you made it.
  • Hands-on with tools like Seedance, ElevenLabs, Runway, Magnific, Higgsfield, Kling or equivalents, and a view on which are worth using and why.
  • Experience editing paid social ad creative, or strong organic short-form content.
  • A feel for what makes someone watch to the end.
  • Solid written English. You'll be writing copy eventually, and we'll teach you how to make it convert.
  • Fast and reliable at volume, without the quality dropping.
  • High ownership, low ego, entrepreneurial wiring — an operator, not a passenger.

Nice to Have

  • Freelance experience juggling multiple clients and unclear briefs, work across different niches, static as well as video, or having briefed other editors.

How We Work

High responsibility, clear accountability, real upside earned through output. Structured sprints, clear briefs, measurable outcomes. No bloated project management, no micro-management. AI is integrated across the workflow and you use it as leverage, not get replaced by it.

In-office, Birmingham.

What You Get

£35,000 – £42,000 depending on experience, with a short contract period to start so both sides can be sure. Cutting-edge AI tools and internal systems · mentorship from operators who've scaled · a participation pathway for top performers · a genuine route from editor into creative strategy.

To Apply

Hit 'Apply' and complete our short application, including your portfolio. Please include at least one example of AI-generated or AI-assisted work. It takes approx. 10 minutes, and a real person reviews every one.

The Process

Apply with your portfolio → practical task (a 30 to 60 second trailer; we'll give you hooks, assets, copy and tool access) → in-person interview in Birmingham → offer.
