Role type: Full-time

About Utilise Social

We’re a performance, branding and growth marketing agency working with ambitious ecommerce brands. We help brands grow through paid media, creative, web, CRO and CRM, all under one roof. We’re not a traditional agency where creative is produced in a silo and passed to media buyers with no context. Our creative team works closely with paid media, strategy and production to create better work, test faster and understand what is driving results. We care about producing content that looks good, but more importantly, content that captures attention, holds it and drives action.

The Role

We’re looking for a Video Editor who knows how to create sharp, engaging short-form content for social media.

Most of the work will involve videos of up to 60 seconds for Meta, TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

You’ll be editing a mix of:

  • UGC
  • Creator content
  • Founder-led videos
  • Product demos
  • Testimonials
  • Paid social ads
  • Organic social content
  • Offer-led and direct-response creative
  • Reviews, unboxings and feature breakdowns

This is a great role for someone who enjoys moving quickly, trying new ideas and seeing how their work performs in the real world. You’ll work closely with our Creative Strategists, Paid Media Managers, Designers and Production Team to turn briefs and raw footage into strong, platform-native content.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Editing short-form content for Meta, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts
  • Turning raw footage into polished, engaging videos
  • Creating strong hooks that capture attention early
  • Using pacing, captions, sound design and visual changes to keep people watching
  • Adapting edits for different platforms and audiences
  • Creating multiple versions of concepts for testing
  • Working from creative briefs while bringing your own ideas to the table
  • Using performance feedback to improve future edits
  • Keeping project files, footage and B-roll organised
  • Managing multiple projects across different brands
  • Using AI tools to streamline workflows and improve output where useful
  • Staying on top of platform trends without copying everything that appears on your feed

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
