We’re looking for a fast, AI-savvy Video Editor to work with Tim Yakubson (tim-yakubson.com) and the team across YouTube and short-form content.
You’ll be responsible for editing long-form YouTube videos and turning them into engaging short-form content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok.
What you’ll do:
- Edit 2 YouTube videos per week
- Produce up to 5 short-form clips per day
- Repurpose long-form videos into multiple short-form clips
- Use AI tools to speed up and improve your editing workflow
- Work quickly and iterate based on feedback
- Communicate clearly and proactively about what you need
What we’re looking for:
- Strong video editing fundamentals
- Experience editing YouTube and short-form content
- Expert at using AI in your editing workflow
- Solid basics: pacing, captions, b-roll, sound design, hooks for short form
- Fast turnaround and a bias toward action
- Good understanding of short-form hooks and pacing
- Claude Code knowledge is a must
- Ability to build and follow AI-powered systems for content repurposing
- Someone who takes feedback well and iterates quickly
- Hunger, reliability, and being easy to work with matter more to us than 10+ years of experience

Salary:
~$1,500/month

This is a fully remote position and we’re open to candidates regardless of location.
