About 7FIFTY

We are an independent production agency, specialising in documentary-style branded content, AFP and branded entertainment made for the digital era. Storytelling is at the heart of everything we do – it's not a slogan, it's a standard.

From short-form, social-first content to longer YouTube and broadcast series, we partner directly with the people behind the brands. Our guerilla-style production approach means we're agile, unobtrusive and able to capture genuine moments in real locations with real people - letting real-life do the talking.

The Role

This is a full-time, in-house role for an experienced Video Editor (YouTube & Socials) to join our small but mighty team. It's an opportunity for someone who wants to stretch themselves creatively and make a meaningful, disproportionate impact on our output and the overall client experience.

Our films revolve around people who embody passion and excellence, giving us the privilege of capturing authentic hospitality in its many forms.

We're looking for a passionate, driven video editor with strong storytelling instincts and a genuine understanding of YouTube and social media. Someone equally confident shaping compelling long-form narratives and creating engaging, platform-native short-form content.

You'll work closely with our production team, taking ownership of edits from initial rushes through to final delivery. A significant part of the role will be dedicated to one of our major clients, so we're looking for someone who can immerse themselves in a brand, understand its audience and creative guidelines, and consistently deliver content that meets both editorial and commercial objectives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

As a growing agency with big ambitions, we value people who are proactive, adaptable and willing to push beyond the traditional boundaries of their role, bringing fresh ideas and taking pride in elevating every project.

Our Non-negotiables

  • Storytelling & editorial instincts: A natural storyteller with experience shaping engaging narratives across long-form YouTube films and short-form social content. Someone who understands pacing, structure, emotion and how to find the story within the footage.
  • YouTube & social expertise: A genuine understanding of YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and other social platforms, including the different editing styles, audience behaviours and creative approaches that make content work on each. An appreciation of hooks, audience retention and what keeps people watching is essential.
  • Technical proficiency: Confident and experienced using Adobe Premiere Pro and the wider Adobe Creative Suite, with excellent editing and post-production skills. Experience with After Effects, motion graphics, colour grading and other editing software would be an advantage.
  • Organisation & self-sufficiency: Rock-solid organisational skills, able to manage multiple edits, deadlines and deliverables independently, with nothing falling through the cracks. Comfortable managing your own workflow and maintaining organised project files.
  • Brand understanding & consistency: The ability to immerse yourself in a client's world, understand their brand guidelines, audience and objectives, and develop a consistent editorial approach across an ongoing programme of content.
  • Creative collaboration: Comfortable working closely with Producers and Directors, contributing ideas, taking feedback constructively and finding creative solutions. Someone who can bring their own perspective to an edit while understanding the wider creative vision.
  • Independent working: While you'll be a core part of our team, you'll also own projects that don't always come with a script. This means strong instincts, responsibility for the outcome, and the opportunity to leave your own creative fingerprint on the work.
  • Passion & ambition: A genuine enthusiasm for YouTube, social media and storytelling, with a willingness to learn, develop new skills and go beyond the traditional scope of an editing role. An interest in supporting graphics, motion graphics and thumbnail creation would be welcomed. Show us who you are and what you bring - not just a copy-and-paste response... Show us your passion and what makes you different.
