The Centre for International Security and Economic Strategy (CISES) is an independent, London-based think tank dedicated to examining the complex intersection of global security, geopolitics, and economic policy.

The Role(s)
We are looking for four (4) part-time Video Editors to support our work at CISES. These are fully remote and volunteer positions responsible for the following tasks:
- Editing of long-form CISES video content from raw footage through to a polished, publication-ready final product
- Responsibility for the post-production workflow for CISES video content, through helping establish an efficient and repeatable process for receiving footage, editing, reviewing, and preparing material for publication
- Production of content to a consistent publishing schedule, with our initial targets of approximately one long-form video per week
- Incorporation of appropriate visual storytelling, including charts, maps, and graphics, into our video content with the assistance of our Visual Designer
- Development and maintenance of a visual style for CISES content
- Collaboration with CISES's policy and digital teams to identify opportunities to turn existing interviews, research, and high-performing short-form material into more substantive video content
- Working as part of a dedicated video editing/production team, with these roles expected to contribute to the wider development of CISES's video-production capability

Skills and Qualifications required
- Strong understanding of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro) and post-production workflows
- Experience working on long-form video content
- Familiarity with incorporating motion graphics, charts, or data visualisation into video content (or willingness to collaborate closely with our Visual Designer to do so)
- Ability to work remotely in a team environment, meeting a consistent weekly publishing schedule
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines independently
- Attention to detail and practical problem-solving
- Previous experience in academia, journalism, media, or at a think tank is desirable
