📈 Who We Are

We are rebuilding the energy transaction, making it transparent and fair.

Our goal is to put power back where it belongs, in the hands of customers and to take on one of the most critical problems of our century, access to low cost electricity.

We exist to fix a broken global energy market that’s long favoured legacy operators, intermediaries, and opaque pricing. Today’s electricity system was not designed for rapid decarbonisation, AI-driven efficiency or fair access for the actual users - businesses and generators.

We’ve built the first AI native transaction infrastructure to reinvent how electricity is bought, sold and priced. Our technology is designed to cut out the inefficient fees, automate complex market flows, and bring transparency and fairness to energy transactions at scale.

In late 2025, after extraordinary growth, we closed a $75 million Series B - led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from Albion, Atomico, Allianz, Hitachi Ventures, Hitachi Ventures, Schroders Capital and others - positioning us for global expansion, deeper product innovation and category leadership.

We’re scaling internationally and building toward a future where AI-driven infrastructure is foundational to electricity markets worldwide.

Since launch, our modern utility product, known as RED, has already facilitated thousands of business customers and billions in energy transaction value, proving that modern software and AI can transform an industry built on legacy systems.

At tem, we’re not just building another energy company, we’re rearchitecting market infrastructure so that transparency, efficiency and sustainability become the default, not the exception.

🎙️ The Role

We're hiring a Video Lead to join the Brand team.

Video is how tem wins attention and trust. We're rebuilding the energy transaction to be transparent and fair, and the story deserves to be told beautifully - from fast social-first series to high-fidelity customer films.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You're a one-person production unit: you shoot and you cut, flexing between two very different modes - a social series filmed and turned around in days, and a crafted film that feels considered in every frame. You'll work alongside our Content Lead, who owns ideas, scripts and the story arc. You own how it gets made, with AI creative tooling as a core part of how you work.

In your first 12 months, you might:

  • Ship social-first series week in, week out, built natively for each platform.
  • Craft high-fidelity customer films and brand pieces that feel considered in every frame.
  • Use AI creative tooling to hit ideas and turnarounds a traditional pipeline could not.
  • Build a footage and project library the whole team can find and reuse.
  • Shape how tem's story shows up on screen - bringing ideas, not just executing them.

🚀 Responsibilities

  • Shoot with confidence: run shoots solo - set up, light, frame, record clean audio - and come back with coverage, not just the shot list.
  • Cut with craft: edit, grade, mix and title. Roughly 70% of your week is in the edit.
  • Move at social speed: turn platform-native pieces around at pace without the quality visibly dropping.
  • Go high-fidelity: build pieces where pacing, sound design and framing are doing the storytelling.
  • Lean into AI: use AI creative tools and suites to build faster, more elevated video, and keep experimenting as they evolve.
  • Bring out people's best: put customers and colleagues at ease on camera, direct gently, and get their best on screen.
  • Feed the story: push back and add to ideas - you won't write the scripts, but you'll have a view on how the story lands.

🎯 Requirements

Must-Haves

  • A showreel with real social-first proof - evidence you understand how content works natively on social.
  • Equally, evidence you can tell a beautiful human story - elevated, considered, well-crafted work.
  • Genuinely strong at both halves of the job: you shoot and you edit to a professional standard.
  • Speed with control - you can get a series out quickly without the quality visibly dropping.
  • Hands-on experience with AI creative tools - you've experimented, shipped real work with them, and you're hungry to keep learning.
  • UK-based and able to travel for shoots.
