PURPOSE
The Video Marketing Officer will lead the planning, creation and delivery of engaging video content that supports St Clare's marketing and student recruitment objectives. The role is responsible for developing and implementing the College's video strategy across multiple channels, producing high-quality video content that brings the St Clare's story to life, and supporting the wider Marketing team with campaigns, events and digital activity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Video Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement a strategic approach to video content that supports the College's marketing and communications objectives.
- Identify opportunities for video storytelling across the website, social media channels, events, student recruitment activities and internal communications.
- Plan annual and campaign-based video content aligned with key recruitment periods, institutional priorities and audience needs.
- Monitor video performance and audience engagement to inform future content planning and optimisation.
Student, Alumni and Parent Stories (VOXPOPs)
- Lead the planning and production of authentic testimonial content across all St Clare's programmes.
- Capture and edit student, alumni and parent stories to showcase the St Clare's experience and outcomes.
- Coordinate and conduct virtual interviews using platforms such as Recordr, alongside in-person filming.
- Repurpose testimonial footage into promotional videos and short-form content suitable for multiple channels.

Special Video Projects
- Manage and deliver larger-scale, long-term video projects that support strategic priorities and brand storytelling.
- Develop creative concepts, production schedules and delivery plans for flagship video initiatives.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders and external suppliers where required to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
Events and Campaign Support
- Capture photo and video content at College events, including Open Days, alumni events, celebrations and community activities.
- Produce promotional materials and video assets before, during and after events to maximise audience engagement.
- Support live event communications through timely content creation and distribution.
Social Media Video Content
- Create engaging short-form video content tailored to social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Identify trends and opportunities for reactive content while maintaining consistency with the College's brand and tone of voice.
- Adapt existing footage into platform-specific formats and optimise content for audience engagement.
Student Recruitment Video Support
- Collaborate with Student Recruitment Managers (SRMs) to produce video content that supports recruitment activities, presentations and events.
- Develop bespoke video assets to meet programme-specific recruitment needs.
- Provide advice and recommendations on the effective use of video within recruitment campaigns.

Professional Photo and Video Shoots
- Support the Marketing and Communications Manager in planning and coordinating professional photography and videography days.
- Assist with shot lists, logistics, stakeholder coordination and on-the-day delivery.
- Ensure content captured aligns with brand guidelines and future campaign requirements.
Wider Marketing Team Support
- Provide support with website content updates and management as required.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of marketing events, including Open Days, alumni events and other College activities, both in preparation and on the day.
- Support the running of the Marketing CAS experience, encouraging student participation and content creation opportunities.
- Contribute ideas and practical support to wider marketing campaigns and communications initiatives.
