TechRadar Video Presenter
TechRadar is one of the world's biggest tech sites, helping readers buy, enjoy, and enhance the tech they love. You'll join an innovative video team dedicated to scaling our digital presence across major social platforms. As Video Presenter, you'll work closely with talented writers, editors, and producers to shape exciting editorial content and sponsor-led campaigns. It's a fantastic opportunity to experiment with fresh formats and become a key on-camera personality for a global audience.
What You'll Be Doing
Reporting to the Head of Video, you'll anchor our video operations, presenting and shaping engaging content for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Your daily tasks will include:
- Pitching ideas
- Writing retention-focused scripts
- Self-shooting original vertical videos
You'll collaborate directly with writers, editors, and producers to bring concepts from pilot research to final publication.
You'll also play a vital role in our commercial projects, presenting branded campaigns with a natural, authentic tone. By combining production knowledge with on-camera charisma, you'll help organise shoots, review edits, and shape TechRadar's video output.
Experience That'll Put You Ahead Of The Curve
- Passion for consumer technology and a desire to grow an active social community
- Strong writing skills to draft and revise scripts effectively for diverse formats
- Comfort with agile self-shooting workflows and basic lighting for vertical videos
- A natural stage presence with the ability to interview and perform dynamically
- Solid research skills and a curiosity to quickly learn about new technical subjects
- An understanding of social video trends, tone, and audience retention strategies
- Proven on-camera experience in video, broadcast, or social-first content, with sample work available
- Demonstrable experience self-producing and editing video content to a high standard
