Title: Video Producer

About CoinPoker
Welcome to CoinPoker, the innovative crypto-poker platform where advanced blockchain technology meets the thrilling world of online poker. At CoinPoker, we are revolutionizing the poker experience by offering fast, secure, and transparent gameplay. With recent substantial investment, we are poised to take over the online crypto-poker space and are expanding our team to support our growth.
The Opportunity
The Video Producer is responsible for the long-form video output of CoinPoker's YouTube channel and its ambassador, partner, and collaboration content, owning what gets made and how it comes together, from concept and footage through to the finished video.
The role is focused on turning poker into content people watch, developing video concepts, planning and sourcing the footage each one needs, shaping the story, and directing the edit through to a finished piece that holds attention and delivers on its promise.
The role requires a real understanding of poker as content and what makes people watch it, from the hands themselves to the players, stakes, and stories around them, combined with the production judgment to turn that understanding into videos that get made and perform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop long-form video concepts and individual productions for CoinPoker's YouTube channel and for ambassador, partner, and collaboration content, deciding what gets made within the strategy and format direction set by the Head of Video.
- Plan and source the footage each video needs, whether from existing streams and tournament coverage, commissioned or briefed shoots, or ambassador and partner material, ensuring the raw material exists to make the video work.
- Shape the story and structure of each video, from concept through to edit direction, finding the narrative in the footage and building each piece around the tension, characters, and moments that make people keep watching.
- Direct the edit, whether cutting directly or briefing and reviewing an editor's work, holding output to consistent quality, strong pacing, and the promise made by the title and thumbnail.
- Adapt concept, tone, and style to each channel, delivering CoinPoker-brand content and partner content that fits each ambassador's or partner's own voice and audience rather than a single signature look.
- Own the production schedule across multiple channels, planning shoots, footage, and edits so content ships reliably against the content calendar.
- Apply retention findings and performance feedback from the weekly review to future concepts and edits, and feed what is and isn't working back into how content is planned.
- Coordinate with the ambassador and partnerships teams on concepts, footage, briefs, and turnaround for partner and collaboration content.
- Use AI and modern production and editing tools wherever they make output faster or better.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Highly Desired Knowledge and Experience:
- A portfolio of long-form video you produced that held audiences, whether for a channel, a brand, or your own work, with the ability to explain the concept and structural decisions behind it and, ideally, the numbers it drove.
- A real understanding of poker as content and why people watch it, spanning not just the hands but the players, personalities, stakes, and stories that make poker compelling to an audience.
- Demonstrated ability to take a video from concept to finished piece, including developing the idea, sourcing or organising the footage, and shaping the story.
- Strong story and structure instincts, with the judgment to know what a video is really about and cut everything that doesn't serve it.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and manage production across multiple videos and channels, delivering reliably against a schedule.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt concept and tone across different channels or brands.
- Fluency with a professional editing and production stack, and with AI tooling where it genuinely helps.
