Producer - Science / Engineering - Branded Content

Location: Tooting, South London (in-office 3 - 5 days a week - hybrid considered)

Package: 12-Month Rolling Contract | £60k pro-rata (DOE) base salary + benefits

Are you an ambitious, forward-thinking Producer who knows how to shepherd a project from a blank page to a hit series?

In this role, your primary focus will be leading end-to-end production for Google DeepMind content among other clients.

You will be responsible for bringing cutting-edge AI research and tech innovations to life, shaping complex concepts into high-impact video series and corporate communications. We need a Producer who marries traditional creative storytelling with modern efficiency; someone who is actively excited about integrating the latest AI tools into workflows to supercharge our output.

This job will require you to travel internationally on a semi-regular basis. About once every 2 months.

What you’ll do

  • End-to-End Production: Lead premium projects for Google DeepMind from concept, scripting, and storyboarding through to physical production and final delivery.
  • Tech-Driven Storytelling: Partner with client stakeholders to translate highly complex artificial intelligence research into compelling, narrative-driven video formats.
  • AI Workflow Integration: Implement and champion AI tools (for scripting, research, transcriptions, pre-vis, and rough cuts) to streamline production timelines.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for Google DeepMind and other multinational clients, managing high-level expectations, feedback loops, and presentations.
  • Crew & Budget Management: Build budgets, manage timelines, hire freelance crew, and oversee shoots on location and in-studio.
  • Post-Production Liaison: Collaborate closely with our video editors, freelancers and senior management to ensure the creative vision carries through the final edit.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Additional Info to consider

Please do not apply via LinkedIn’s “Quick Apply”. We won’t see your application there. Instead, email your CV, portfolio/links to past work, and a short cover note to: work@serialbox.studio

Additional information we would like to know: How far you are from the office (CR4 2JX) and when the earliest date you would be available to start work would be.
