We are currently recruiting for a Video Systems Manager to come and join the Film & TV Team.
The Video Systems Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight, technical management, and operational delivery of all video systems and inventory. This role ensures the highest standards of performance, reliability, and innovation across all video equipment, including ROE and ABSEN LED stock, Blackmagic 2110 infrastructure, PixelHue controllers, and the wider video kit inventory.
You will lead the video department, supporting projects from planning through to execution, while maintaining equipment readiness and driving technical excellence.
Your Duties Will Include
Technical Leadership & Strategy
- Own and develop the company’s video capabilities, ensuring alignment with current and emerging industry standards.
- Act as the subject matter expert for LED, broadcast IP (2110), and video processing systems.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, upgrades, and investments.
Equipment & Inventory Management
- Oversee all video inventory, including:
- ROE and ABSEN LED panels
- Blackmagic 2110 ecosystem
- PixelHue controllers
- All associated video infrastructure and processing equipment
- Ensure all kit is maintained, tested, and deployment-ready at all times.
- Implement robust asset tracking, maintenance schedules, and quality control processes.

Project Delivery
- Support pre-production planning, specifying appropriate video solutions for projects.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and project management teams to deliver high-quality video systems.
- Provide technical guidance on system design, signal flow, and integration.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the video team, including technicians and engineers.
- Allocate resources effectively across projects and warehouse operations.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

What you will need to bring to the role from day one:
- Proven experience in a senior video or broadcast engineering role.
- Strong expertise with:
- LED display technologies (ROE, ABSEN or similar)
- SMPTE ST 2110 / IP-based video workflows
- Blackmagic Design ecosystems
- PixelHue or comparable video processing/control systems
- Deep understanding of video signal flow, colour processing, and system integration.
- Experience managing large-scale video inventories and warehouse operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving ability under pressure.

Desirable
- Experience in live events, broadcast, or production environments.
- Knowledge of networking for video (multicast, PTP, VLANs).
- Familiarity with other media server and processing platforms.
