About the Role

Digital Natives is a social-first creative agency. Social sits at the heart of how we think, how we create and how we help brands connect with their audiences.

We’re looking for a talented, multidisciplinary Content Creator to join our team — someone who lives and breathes social media and combines that passion with strong hands-on creative craft.

This isn’t a traditional videographer or editor role. We’re looking for someone who can work across the content creation process: contributing to ideas, shooting, directing, editing and ultimately turning those ideas into brilliant social-first content.

You’ll work closely with our Creative, Production and wider agency teams, using our in-house studio and production capabilities to create work for a range of brands and platforms.

Who We’re Looking For

We want someone who genuinely understands social.

  • You’re immersed in social media and naturally curious about what people are watching, sharing and talking about. You understand the platforms, audiences and behaviours that make content work — and you’re constantly thinking about what’s coming next.
  • You’ll have your finger on the pulse of emerging formats, creators, platform developments, cultural moments and trends across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and the wider social landscape.
  • You won’t just follow trends. We want you to bring that knowledge and curiosity into the agency — contributing ideas, sharing inspiration, experimenting with new approaches and helping us continually evolve the work we create.
  • You understand that great social content isn’t simply traditional creative reformatted for a smaller screen. It needs to be conceived, shot and edited with social behaviour in mind.
  • Alongside that social-first mindset, you’ll be a confident all-round maker. Someone who can contribute to an idea, work out how to execute it, pick up a camera, shoot it, direct talent and take the footage through post-production to create a finished piece of content.
  • You don’t need to be a specialist in every discipline. What matters is having strong foundations, great creative instincts, technical confidence and a genuine desire to keep learning.

What You’ll Be Doing

Creative & Social-First Content

  • Create high-quality content across paid and organic social, always approaching briefs through a social-first lens.
  • Contribute ideas and creative thinking across client briefs and internal projects.
  • Work alongside our Creative and Production teams to develop ideas that are exciting, relevant, achievable and right for the platform.
  • Bring a maker’s perspective to the creative process — thinking about both the idea and how we can execute it.
  • Understand how creative needs to adapt across different platforms, audiences, formats and placements.
  • Stay close to social and cultural trends, proactively bringing inspiration, references and opportunities into the team.
  • Help us experiment with new formats and approaches rather than simply repeating what has worked before.

Shooting & Directing

  • Shoot high-quality video content across a range of productions, from fast, agile social content through to larger client shoots.
  • Confidently operate professional camera equipment, with a strong understanding of lighting, composition, lenses, audio and visual storytelling.
  • Understand how shooting specifically for social influences framing, pacing, coverage and performance.
  • Direct talent, creators and contributors where required.
  • Be equally comfortable working independently on smaller pieces of content and collaborating as part of a wider production crew.
  • Work closely with producers, creatives and other specialists to bring ideas to life.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Play an active role in pushing the department forward and challenging how we currently do things.
  • We want someone who is as interested in what could work tomorrow as they are in what works today.

Content & Workflow Management

  • Making great work is only part of the role. We also want someone who takes pride in what happens behind the scenes.
  • You’ll:
    • Take ownership of the organisation and management of footage following shoots.
    • Ensure rushes, project files and finished assets are correctly ingested, organised, backed up and uploaded to our central storage systems.

Studio & Equipment

  • You’ll play an active role in making sure those resources are used well, including:
    • Helping keep our studio organised, maintained and production-ready.
    • Maintaining and organising camera, lighting, audio and other production equipment.
    • Helping manage equipment across shoots.
    • Ensuring kit is correctly returned, stored and cared for.
    • Flagging maintenance, repairs, replacements and future equipment requirements.
    • Making proactive use of the studio for client work, internal projects, testing and experimentation.
