Who are Coolr?
We’re an independent social media agency and team of creatives, social experts, content publishers and change makers. Completely wired into popular culture, our work connects brands with their audiences at scale. With clients such as Burger King, Lidl, Deliveroo and Compare the Market (to name drop a few) our aim is to be the biggest social agency in the world. The agency is growing at a rapid rate, but we’re only just getting started. In 2026, we have ambitious plans to truly become the stand-out social agency in the UK, the US, and beyond. We have a strong platform for growth and have made great strides forward – now we really want to take things to the next level.
About the role:
We are looking for a talented Videographer to join our in-house production team on a 7-month fixed-term contract, creating football focused social content throughout the EFL season. You will work as part of a dedicated team travelling to EFL clubs across the country, capturing engaging, social-first content, featuring players, teams and club environments. The role will involve a mixture of filming and editing, with post-production making up the larger share of your workload. You’ll bring strong technical skills, creative thinking and an understanding of what makes video content perform across platforms including TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts. Experience producing sports content and a genuine interest in football would be a real bonus.
The job 💻
- Film high-quality, social-first content at EFL clubs and locations across the UK.
- Edit engaging short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, with editing forming the majority of the role.
- Collaborate with producers, creatives and videographers to bring ideas, scripts and storyboards to life.
- Direct players and contributors on set, creating a relaxed environment and capturing authentic, engaging performances.
- Shoot a variety of content, including interviews, challenges, behind-the-scenes footage and campaign content.
- Enhance videos with captions, graphics, music and sound design to create platform-ready content.
- Manage footage, project files and media workflows, ensuring content is organised and delivered efficiently.
- Work across multiple projects, maintaining high creative and technical standards while meeting deadlines.
- Help identify additional content opportunities and creative edits from each shoot.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of camera, lighting and audio equipment.
- Travel regularly across the UK, including occasional early starts, late finishes, overnight stays (3–4 per month) and some weekend shoots.
- Stay up to date with the latest social trends, editing techniques and video production best practices.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
