We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Videographer to join our team in Colchester. You will play a key role in capturing, editing and producing high-quality visual content for our clients.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate videographer who is confident both behind the camera and in post-production, and who is looking to take a key role within a growing and innovative creative agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality video content from concept to completion, including planning, filming and post-production editing.
- Capture high-quality photography for clients, including commercial, property, lifestyle and social media content, with a strong understanding of composition, lighting and visual storytelling.
- Collaborate with marketing, content and creative teams to develop engaging visual content.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of video and photography shoots, including lighting, sound, composition and equipment.
- Direct on-camera talent and ensure a smooth and professional production process.
- Edit and enhance video content using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve.
- Edit and retouch photography to a professional standard using software such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
- Maintain and manage video and photography equipment, ensuring high standards of quality and functionality.
- Stay up to date with video, photography and social media content trends and innovative techniques to keep content fresh and engaging.
- Work closely with clients to understand their vision and deliver content that aligns with their objectives.
- Ensure all content meets brand guidelines and the highest quality standards.
- Contribute creative ideas and concepts for campaigns, social media content and wider marketing projects.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively, ensuring work is delivered on time and to a high standard.

Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a videographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of video projects.
- Photography experience is essential, with a strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality photography across a range of styles and environments.
- Excellent proficiency with professional video and photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting and audio equipment.
- Strong skills in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong photography editing and retouching skills using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
- Ability to conceptualise, storyboard and execute creative video and photography ideas.
- Strong understanding of composition, lighting, framing and visual storytelling.
- Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience directing shoots and working with on-camera talent.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.
- Experience creating content specifically for social media platforms is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and storytelling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, creative approach with the ability to bring new ideas and concepts to the table.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable due to the nature of client shoots and travel.

Our services include video production, photography, branding, web design, social media marketing, drone photography and videography, and more.
We are a growing agency with a strong focus on creating creative, engaging and results-driven content for our clients. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across a wide variety of industries and projects, while playing an important role within our growing creative team.
Salary
The salary for this position will range from £27,000 – £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience, skills and portfolio.
