Videographer/Editor

Purple Dinosaur is looking for a Videographer/Editor to join our growing creative team. Please note this is an employed position, not a freelance or contract engagement.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves making great video – from picking up a camera and capturing the content through to bringing it all together in the edit.

We’re looking for someone who already has a strong foundation in videography and editing and is confident creating premium content, but who is also excited to develop their craft, try new things and grow as part of an experienced creative team.

Note: you’ll work as part of a wider team of designers and creatives, under the guidance of the Head of Video, with the potential to take ownership of full projects along the way. This role also has the opportunity to contribute to ideas and concepts at the creative table.

What you’ll be doing:

Videography

  • Filming premium video content on location. Including interviews, podcasts, ads, events and social videos.
  • Setting up and managing professional cameras (Sony FX3s), lighting and audio.
  • Shooting creative, engaging B-roll footage using handheld and gimbal setups.
  • Working independently on smaller shoots and as part of a team on larger productions.
  • Taking projects from shoot through to final edit, as well as contributing at the creative table.

Editing

  • Editing content from rushes through to final delivery in Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Editing confidently across a variety of styles, audiences and platforms to create landing page videos, commercials, social reels, Meta ads and content for billboards and digital screens.
  • Shaping interviews and B-roll into clear, engaging stories.
  • Working creatively with pacing, music, sound design and colour.
  • Keeping footage, projects and assets organised throughout the post-production process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
