About Shaka Social

Shaka Social is where creativity meets performance. We’re a results-obsessed social media agency that blends big ideas with data-driven results. Based in Glasgow, we partner with leading brands to create social content that doesn’t just look good, it performs.

We’re a team of ambitious creatives, strategists, and performance specialists who genuinely love what we do. From storytelling to paid media, everything we make is designed to move the needles that matter for our clients.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Videographer & Editor to join our growing creative team.

You’ll be responsible for both filming and editing video content that spans high-end brand shoots and fast-turnaround social content.

Your work will range from producing premium storytelling videos for clients like Whyte & Mackay to creating engaging short-form edits for campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube for clients, such as Skyscanner.

You’ll collaborate closely with our content, paid, and strategy teams to bring bold, social-first ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities

Filming & Production

  • Plan, film, and produce short-form and longer-form content using professional camera, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Confidently direct and capture a variety of content styles; from polished commercial shoots to fast-paced, reactive social clips.
  • Take ownership of your shoots, managing on-set logistics and maintaining high creative standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
