Videographer & Photographer, Multi-Brand Football Content

Contract · Associate · On-site — Newcastle & Sunderland area, UK — travel to matches/events

Videographer & Photographer — Full-Time Contract, Newcastle & Sunderland area, UK. Six-month trial, with a real path to a permanent role after. You'll shoot football across a genuinely wide range — training-ground sessions one week, Premier League match day the next — for multiple brands inside our international football business. Alongside that, you'll handle product photography and video: kit, merchandise, and other brand assets that need a cleaner, more controlled setup than a match day ever gives you.

You'll do some light editing yourself, but there's a full editing team behind you for anything more involved. Your job is to get the shot right, in whatever discipline that shot calls for, and hand off content that's easy to work with. We want someone building a real career and portfolio in football content, but ambition on its own doesn't get the shot. You need to have already proven you can deliver on shoot day, every time, across very different environments.

What you'll work on

  • Shoot everything from training-ground sessions to Premier League match day, across leagues that range from the top flight to non-league.
  • Shoot product photography and video for the brands we work with — kit, merchandise, sponsor items, whatever a given brand needs.
  • Work across multiple brands, adjusting what you shoot and how depending on where the content is headed.
  • Handle quick edits and turnarounds yourself, with a full editing team behind you for anything bigger.
  • Build a body of work that holds up across a real range of football contexts, brands, and formats — live action and product alike.
  • Make good calls fast, on your own, whether it's a quiet training session, a packed Premier League ground, or a studio product shoot.
  • Hand off footage and images that are organized and labeled well enough that the editing team doesn't have to guess.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we're looking for

  • Real, paid experience shooting football or live sports, not just a personal reel from practice shoots.
  • Comfortable shooting product photography and video, not just live action. It's a different discipline, and we need both.
  • Comfortable across very different settings, from a training pitch to a full Premier League match day to a controlled product setup.
  • Some experience, or real comfort, adapting how you shoot for different brands or outputs.
  • You can edit when you need to, even though it's not your main job.
  • You own decent camera equipment, or have reliable access to it.
  • You can get to matches, training sessions, and events across Northeast England, sometimes with short notice.
  • You work well without close supervision on shoot days.
  • You genuinely want a career in football content, and you've already got the track record to back that up.

Nice to have

  • Real knowledge of the game — leagues, tactics, the culture around it, especially outside Northeast England.
  • Existing relationships in the local football scene: clubs, leagues, non-league circuits.
  • A background in e-commerce or catalog-style product photography specifically.
  • Experience producing content for more than one brand or client at once.
  • Experience shooting for social and vertical formats, not just broadcast-style footage.
  • Basic editing chops in Premiere or similar.
  • A portfolio that actually shows both football and product work.
