Company Description

The ATML Choir CIC is a community-focused choir created to combat loneliness and support mental well-being through music. The group is inclusive and open to people of all backgrounds, regardless of color, race, ethnicity, gender, or social class. Whether participants are experienced vocalists or casual “shower singers,” they are invited to join a cohesive, supportive community that celebrates togetherness. The choir’s signature style centers on medleys, combining multiple songs into a unique sound that reflects unity and collaboration. By bringing audiences and choir members together as one, The ATML Choir CIC aims to make the world more connected and compassionate.

Role Description

This is a volunteer Videographer role based in Manchester, offered on a hybrid basis with some work-from-home flexibility. The Videographer will be responsible for filming rehearsals, performances, and community events to capture the essence of the choir’s mission and activities. Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Planning video shoots
  • Setting up cameras, lighting, and audio
  • Coordinating with choir leaders to understand key moments and messages
  • Editing video content for social media, the website, and promotional materials, ensuring high-quality, engaging visual storytelling

The Videographer will collaborate with the wider team to maintain a consistent visual style that supports the choir’s focus on inclusion and mental health awareness.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Video Production, including planning, shooting, and post-production.
  • Proficiency in Camera Operation and use of Camera equipment for live and staged settings.
  • Ability to manage Lighting and Shooting Video in varied environments (indoor, outdoor, stage).
  • Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
  • Good visual storytelling skills and an eye for composition and detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and communicate clearly.
  • Strong time management and reliability, especially around event schedules.
  • Commitment to inclusivity, community engagement, and supporting mental health through creative work.
