Jewels of Faith is hosting our Autumn Edition Women's Well-Being & Community Gathering in Manchester. Can you capture the day on film and help us share our story with the world? We need a passionate videographer to bring this day to life.
What difference will you make?
The film you create will be the first professional video record of Jewels of Faith as a community. It will do something no photograph or caption can — it will show the world exactly what happens when women come together in a room like this. The joy, the honesty, the connection, the growth. All of it captured and preserved.
Jewels of Faith is a bold, growing organisation with a community of women across the UK and beyond. The content you create on 24 October will fuel our platforms, support future funding applications, attract new attendees and tell our story in a way that words simply cannot.
For a charity with a big vision, professional video is transformational. It opens doors — to funders, to partnerships, to women across the country who have never heard of us but whose lives could be changed by what we do. Your camera is the bridge between our community and the women who haven't found us yet.
We genuinely cannot do this without you.
What are we looking for?
We are not looking for a specific number of years of experience — we are looking for the right person. Whether you are an established videographer or someone who has been quietly building their craft, what matters is your eye, your instinct and your passion for capturing real human moments on film. We will ask you to share examples of your work at interview.

Essential:
- Your own camera capable of producing clean professional quality video
- An external microphone for clear audio
- Solid editing skills
- Ability to deliver a short film, highlight reel and standalone speaker clip within two weeks of the event
Experience:
- Filming in a live, unscripted environment is important — community events, faith gatherings, conferences or similar settings where real moments happen would all be relevant.
- Working discreetly within a sensitive space and still coming away with powerful footage.
Personality:
- Someone warm, discreet and emotionally aware. This is a women's wellbeing and faith gathering — conversations will be real and sometimes deeply personal. The right person will know instinctively when to film and when to hold back.
- A connection to faith, wellbeing or women's community spaces is a bonus but not essential. What matters most is that you care about the work and take pride in what you create.
What will you be doing?
Jewels of Faith is a faith-based women's community organisation dedicated to encouraging women to spark their faith, live their purpose and thrive together. On Friday 24 October 2026 we are hosting our Autumn Edition Women's Well-Being & Community Gathering in Manchester — and we are looking for a talented videographer to join our volunteer team and capture the day on film.
This is about creating a lasting, high quality video record of our community in action. We need someone who can walk into a room full of women connecting, growing and being real with each other — and capture what that actually looks like on screen.

What You Will Be Creating
- A 5 to 7 minute short film of the day — a beautifully edited piece that tells the full story of the gathering from start to finish. The kind of film that makes a woman who wasn't there wish she had been.
- A 60 to 90 second highlight reel — fast, punchy and made for social media. The best moments from the day cut together to stop someone mid-scroll.
- A clean standalone recording of our host Olla Offia's session — well framed, clearly audible and delivered as its own separate clip.
All edited content to be delivered to Jewels of Faith digitally within two weeks of the event.
Your Equipment and Briefing
You will need your own filming equipment — a camera capable of producing clean professional quality video and an external microphone for clear audio capture, particularly during speaking sessions. A full briefing and run of show will be provided before the event. You will also receive a filming consent list so you know exactly who has given permission before you begin.
Future Opportunities
This is not a one-off if you don't want it to be. We are building a volunteer community at Jewels of Faith and would love the right person to grow with us. Future events are always discussed well in advance and you are under no obligation beyond this event. If you are only available for the Autumn Edition you are absolutely welcome — every contribution matters to us.
