The Role
We are seeking an Assistant Cost Controller or recent Finance/Accounting graduate to support our Senior Cost Controller. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to procurement, subcontractor management, cost control, project finance, and project administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Support procurement activities, purchase orders, and supplier payments in SAP.
- Administer subcontractor contracts and monthly payment processes.
- Raise client invoices and support contract administration.
- Assist with monthly project cost-control activities, including preparing project-control reports for production meetings.
- Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors and Contract Managers on monthly AFPs.
- Manage NEC contract documentation and support client audit requirements.
- Provide general finance and administrative support, including IT requests and expense-claim assistance.
- Contribute proactively to the continuous improvement of cost-control and administrative processes.

Qualifications And Skills
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in finance, cost control within the construction industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; SAP experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication skills.
- Reliable, proactive, and accountable, with a strong sense of commitment and ownership.
- Demonstrates a solid work ethic, professional discipline, and willingness to contribute to team objectives.
- Able to take initiative, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
- Flexible and willing to travel to project sites nationwide.
