WHY BOWDEN BRADLEY?

Bowden Bradley is an ambitious, growing independent estate agency covering Hainault, Chigwell, Woodford and the surrounding areas.

We’re not trying to be another average estate agent.

We are building a business based around exceptional service, strong relationships, high standards and continuous improvement.

Our team is growing, our ambitions are big and we want people who want to grow with us.

If you are ambitious, energetic and enjoy dealing with people, this could be an excellent opportunity to build a career within a rapidly growing estate agency.

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Viewing Guide to join the Bowden Bradley team.

This is a highly active, customer facing role for someone who enjoys being out and about, meeting people and representing a premium, ambitious estate agency.

Your days will be spent out in the local area conducting property viewings, meeting buyers and tenants, showing them around our properties and creating an exceptional experience from the moment they walk through the door.

You’ll be the face of Bowden Bradley for many of our clients - so personality, professionalism and energy are essential.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Conducting property viewings throughout Hainault, Chigwell, Woodford and surrounding areas
  • Meeting prospective buyers and tenants at properties
  • Providing professional and engaging property tours
  • Understanding what clients are looking for and identifying suitable opportunities
  • Building rapport and strong relationships with prospective buyers, tenants and vendors
  • Answering questions about properties and the local area
  • Gathering detailed and useful feedback following every viewing
  • Reporting viewing feedback accurately and promptly to the office
  • Following up with applicants where appropriate
  • Identifying potential sales and lettings opportunities
  • Supporting negotiators with the progression of applicants and deals
  • Maintaining a high standard of presentation and professionalism at every property
  • Representing the Bowden Bradley brand at all times
  • Helping create an exceptional customer journey from viewing through to completion or move-in

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

THE PERSON

Previous estate agency experience is preferred but not essential.

We care more about your attitude, personality and ability to communicate than having years of experience.

You could be a current negotiator looking for a different role, someone with strong customer-facing experience, or someone looking to start a career in estate agency.

You must be comfortable driving between properties and working independently throughout the day.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

We measure performance.

A successful Viewing Guide will:

  • Conduct high-quality viewings
  • Generate excellent viewing feedback & obtain reviews
  • Build strong relationships with applicants
  • Convert viewings into second viewings and offers where appropriate
  • Spot commercial opportunities i.e. Landlord with portfolio, buyer who needs mortgage advice, client who needs help selling their property
  • Generate opportunities for the wider sales and lettings team
  • Receive consistently positive client feedback
  • Represent Bowden Bradley to an exceptionally high standard

This isn't a desk job.

You'll be out in the market, meeting clients, seeing properties and playing a direct role in helping people move.
