Vintage Rally Car Machinist (Turning)

£40,000 - £45,000 + Training + Career Progression + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holiday + Flexible Working Hours

Are you an engineering machinist who is looking for an opportunity to join a growing high-performance vehicle restoration company that can offer a chance to work on unique historic vehicles and excellent career progression?

The company is a leading supplier of high-performance rally vehicles, specializing in the conversion of the Porche 911 for rally racing. They also manufacture parts for various high-performance vehicles.

Since launching, they have built a large client list through their collaborative approach, unique design process, and high-quality project delivery.

The successful candidate will be working on the entire restoration and building process to transform a Porche 911 into an all-terrain rally vehicle. You will be working mostly on turning machinery within the fabrication department, where you will be working closely with the design team ensuring performance targets are met.

This role would suit an experienced engineering machinist, who is looking for a chance to join a growing company that offers a fantastic opportunity to work within a specialist manufacturer of high-performance vehicles.

The Role:

  • Completing the entire restoration and refurbishment of Porche 911
  • Using turning machinery to manufacture components
  • Completing the manufacturing of engine components, suspension, and chassis reinforcement.
  • Creating bespoke race and rally high-performance vehicles

Monday - Friday (08:00 - 17:00)

The Person:

  • Previous manual machining experience
  • Automotive experience
