VIP Support Engineer - Windows, M365, Mac, Mobile, Desktop, Laptop, Printers, Active Directory, Azure AD, Imaging, 2nd Line, AV, Full Time on site (Central London)
This is a fantastic permanent VIP Support Engineer opportunity to join a leading London base tech company.
This is a full-time VIP Support Engineer role, five days a week on site in central London.
The role would cover shifts – so as VIP Support Engineer you would either do the early which would be 7.30am to 4pm or late which would be 10am to 6.30pm – for this reason you must be a commutable distance.
This role support C Suite for a multi £B organisation so previous experience supporting VIPs in high pressure on site environments is essential. The VIP Support Engineer must have excellent communication, stakeholder management and remain calm under pressure. The role involves under desk cabling/routing and manual handling printers and other IT equipment.
As VIP Support Engineer, you will provide hands on and occasionally remote support across Mac & Windows, devices including building laptops. Previous experience supporting both Mac & Windows is essential as VIP Support Engineer. The level is generally 2nd line, but there will often be first line as well as occasional 3rd and issues will cover hardware, software, network and peripheral issues across desktops, laptops, workstations, printers, smartphones and tablets. The VIP Support Engineer will need solid iOS experience across Apple devices. The VIP Support Engineer role also includes new-starter setup, laptop builds, Windows imaging, telephony support, firmware updates, escalation management and support for upgrades or rollouts. You will maintain clear technical knowledge base documentation and build strong relationships with VIP users, stakeholders, support teams and third parties. AV troubleshooting is also required with conferencing generally using Teams so solid Team and general AV is essential.
