About The Role

Working in our Enterprise IT function you'll be supporting our business to deliver its priorities and objectives. You'll be contributing to Helping Britain Achieve Net Zero. We understand our business needs and provide specialist advice and knowledge to mitigate risk and maximise success. We are exemplar and act with integrity in a challenging but rewarding environment.

We are seeking someone with passion, skills and experience to help our Digital Workplace team shape the future of our technology landscape.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Enterprise Product Owner in the Virtual Devices team, the Platform Specialist will provide technical leadership and ensure our solutions align with long-term architectural principles and business objectives. This role acts as the technical lead for our Virtual Devices platform, providing leadership and direction to engineers responsible for delivering and operating our enterprise virtual desktop services.

Our Virtual Devices Product Area is responsible for a diverse portfolio of enterprise virtual desktop and remote access technologies, including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365, Secure Browser and application virtualisation solutions. We are responsible for ensuring these platforms remain secure, reliable, scalable and future-ready.

You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across engineering, architecture, security, service management and product teams to solve complex technical challenges, reduce technical risk and drive continual improvement.

You'll join us on a salary starting from £50,000 per annum (depending on experience), with the potential for an annual bonus. This is a hybrid working role that balances time at home and on site to support collaboration and delivery. There will therefore be occasional travel to our offices within the UK.

If you are enthusiastic about delivering secure, reliable and innovative enterprise services and want to drive technical excellence, this is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of our technology landscape.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
