Role Description
As a Virtual Healthcare Assistant at 24/7 Exceptional Care Ltd, you will support patients and care teams by coordinating care, monitoring patient needs, and providing remote assistance to ensure continuity and quality of service. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Assisting with patient assessments
- Documenting care activities
- Updating electronic records
- Communicating with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to address non-emergency queries and care-related concerns
- Managing appointments
- Following up on care plans
- Reinforcing health and safety guidelines
- Escalating clinical issues to qualified healthcare professionals when needed

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bristol, where you will work within a clinical or office environment supporting virtual and domiciliary care operations.
Qualifications
- Strong patient care skills, including understanding of basic care routines, monitoring patient wellbeing, and supporting stroke and domiciliary care needs.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices and medicine-related procedures appropriate to a healthcare assistant role, with awareness of relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Competence in manual handling techniques and safe moving and handling of individuals, following best practices and organizational policies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including clear communication, empathy, active listening, and the ability to build trust with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Previous experience in healthcare support, domiciliary care, or a similar care environment is highly beneficial.
- Ability to use digital systems for care documentation, scheduling, and communication, with good attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Relevant healthcare qualifications or certifications (e.g., NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Flexibility to work full-time shifts, commitment to professional conduct, and willingness to undertake ongoing training and development.
