Company Description

Angels Den Funding is one of the UK and Europe’s leading angel-led investment platforms, connecting high-potential startups and growth companies with the capital, expertise, and networks they need to scale. The company works with a community of over 20,000 investors, including high-net-worth individuals, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors.

The team combines experienced investors, founder relationships, and modern internal systems to create better deal flow and a more thoughtful experience for both founders and investors.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an ambitious Visiting Analyst to join the Investments Team. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to understand how early-stage investing works in practice and develop the judgement, communication skills, and commercial awareness needed to build a career in venture or angel investing.

You will work closely with the Investments Lead and senior members of the team. You will have direct contact with founders: joining meetings, asking questions, helping with due diligence, and supporting opportunities as they move through the investment process.

You will be supported at the start, but you will be trusted with increasing responsibility quickly as your confidence and capability develop.

What You Will Work On

  • Sourcing and researching promising early-stage companies.
  • Reviewing founder materials and preparing useful summaries for the team.
  • Supporting structured due diligence, including speaking directly with founders and asking clear, thoughtful questions.
  • Helping to build the foundations of a strong and repeatable investment process.
  • Developing an understanding of what makes Angels Den’s investment thesis and how the team evaluates opportunities.
  • Supporting calls, founder meetings, and internal discussions with the associate and senior teams.
  • Taking ownership of parts of the deal process as your experience grows.
  • Maintaining accurate records in the CRM and other internal systems.
  • Using internal systems and modern AI-enabled tools to make sourcing, research, diligence, and follow-up more effective.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Previous investment experience is useful but not essential. We are more interested in your potential, work ethic, and ability to develop sound judgement than in a perfect CV.

  • A practical understanding of the main stages of a due diligence process.
