Description

Ticehurst House is seeking a Private CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist


The Opportunity:

We invite an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team, offering the chance to build and manage a private practice offering outpatient services for children and young people at our site. This role is integral to maintaining our high standards of care and providing expert guidance to our dedicated staff.

What you'll be doing

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat children and young people on an outpatient basis
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialist Psychiatrists, therapists and psychologists.
  • Engage in quality improvement and governance activities.
  • Expand your practice in alignment with Ticehurst's prestigious reputation.
  • Network with professional colleagues and referral sources.
  • Market yourself and your practice in conjunction with Priory, registering with private medical insurers and providing information for our website.
  • Maintain professional development and meet Revalidation requirements.

What you'll bring to the role

Candidate Profile:

  • GMC registration with relevant specialist registration.
  • Experience in CAMHS psychiatry, including at least 2 years operating within in a substantive role with the NHS.
  • A strong understanding of Clinical Governance and regulatory frameworks.
  • Successful completion of a DBS check, funded by Ticehurst House.
