In this role, you'll deliver dynamic Nutrition focused teaching both in person, empowering students to thrive academically and professionally.

The Role
As an Associate Lecturer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering engaging teaching across a range of Nutrition based modules. You'll support students both in person and online, contribute to assessment and quality assurance, and be involved in scholarship and continuous curriculum improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Delivering lectures, seminars, and workshops aligned to module specifications
- Updating and maintaining engaging digital learning content via VLE and MS Teams
- Supporting student assessment and providing timely, constructive feedback
- Advising students on academic and pastoral matters, referring where appropriate
- Participating in moderation, standardisation, and academic quality assurance
- Contributing to curriculum development and enhancement of the student experience
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- A Master’s degree in Nutrition or a related field
- Demonstrable experience teaching Nutrition topics in a UK higher education setting
- Excellent communication and digital teaching skills
- Ability to develop innovative learning materials and manage hybrid delivery
- Commitment to inclusivity and student centred learning
Desirable:
- Teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one
- PhD in Nutrition or equivalent industry experience
- Fellowship of Advance HE (or eligibility)
- Experience with Nutrition research, enterprise activity, or professional networks

Working Hours & Flexibility
- Schedule may include daytime, evenings and weekends hours around your availability
