Based at the Manchester City Stadium
This permanent full-time role will lead workforce planning, scheduling and resource coordination across our Visitor Attractions operation. You will help ensure the right colleagues are in place at the right time across the Museum, Stadium Tour, Photography and Altitude front of house operations, supporting an excellent visitor experience while improving workforce utilisation, cost control and operational readiness.

Our Visitor Attractions team creates memorable experiences for Fans and visitors through the Manchester City Stadium Tour, Museum, Photography and Altitude experiences. Working across operations, bookings, People Services, Payroll and Finance, the team helps make sure every part of the visitor journey is supported by thoughtful planning and effective day-to-day delivery.
The Role
As Visitor Attractions Resource Manager, you will own the workforce planning model that connects visitor demand, operating schedules and seasonal requirements with practical staffing plans. Your work will help operational leaders deliver agreed service standards while ensuring colleagues are deployed effectively and contracted hours, availability and skills are considered carefully.
You will manage rotas and workforce scheduling systems, create daily and forward-looking staffing plans, monitor labour deployment and support the Visitor Attractions staffing budget. You will also coordinate monthly payroll activity, maintain accurate workforce records and reporting, and work with operational and People teams on recruitment planning, onboarding and new-starter readiness.

Using workforce, cost and demand information, you will identify trends, risks and opportunities to improve utilisation and operational efficiency. You will build collaborative relationships across Attractions Operations, Bookings, People Services, Payroll and Finance, providing clear updates and evidence-based recommendations that keep the resourcing model flexible, compliant and fit for purpose.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in workforce planning, staff scheduling or resource management within an operational environment.
- Experience using workforce scheduling, rota management or similar planning systems.
- Ability to analyse workforce demand, utilisation and labour performance data to support operational decisions.
- Experience monitoring staffing budgets and labour costs, with the judgement to balance service delivery, workforce availability and cost control.
- Experience supporting payroll processes and resolving payroll-related queries accurately and collaboratively.
- Clear numerical, analytical, organisational and stakeholder communication skills, including confidence using Excel and managing competing priorities.
