Visitor Economy Executive

Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and organised Visitor Economy Executive to support initiatives that promote tourism, visitor spending, destination development, and local economic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Support visitor economy programmes and destination development initiatives.
- Research tourism trends, visitor behaviour, and market opportunities.
- Assist with tourism campaigns and promotional activities.
- Coordinate with tourism businesses, partners, and stakeholders.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and market analysis.
- Monitor visitor trends and campaign performance.
- Support events, tourism projects, and destination initiatives.
- Maintain project records and relevant databases.
- Identify opportunities to improve visitor engagement and destination performance.
- Provide administrative and coordination support to the wider team.

Requirements
- Interest in tourism, travel, marketing, business, or economic development.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Good analytical and research abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Good Microsoft Office or equivalent skills.
- Previous tourism or marketing experience is beneficial but not essential.
