Alton Water Park, Ipswich

£13.45 per hour | Casual until September 2026

5 days a week on a rota basis - inc weekends and bank holidays

Looking for a role where every day is different, you'll spend time outdoors, and you'll help create memorable experiences for visitors?

We're looking for a Visitor Experience Assistant to join our friendly team at Alton Water Park, one of Suffolk's most loved outdoor destinations.

Set within 400 acres of beautiful countryside, Alton Water welcomes walkers, cyclists, watersports enthusiasts and families from across the region. As part of our Visitor Experience team, you'll be the friendly face of the park, helping visitors make the most of everything we have to offer.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Visitor Experience Assistant, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every customer. You'll be:

  • Greeting visitors and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Supporting customers with enquiries, bookings and ticket purchases
  • Operating tills and processing retail and catering transactions
  • Promoting activities, events and park facilities
  • Managing customer communications, bookings and digital systems
  • Supporting car park operations and visitor information services
  • Carrying out cash handling and end-of-day cashing-up procedures
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the park to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

What We're Looking For

  • Is organised and able to manage a variety of tasks

  • Holds a full UK driving licence
