They are looking for very outgoing, enthusiastic, engaging, friendly and customer-focused individuals who are confident speaking to groups and crowds and genuinely enjoy interacting with people.

These opportunities are ideal for people who enjoy engaging with visitors, creating memorable experiences and working in a busy, world-class visitor attraction. You will need to be confident and proactive when interacting with all guests. There are a number of different opportunities available across the Museum (both indoor and outdoor), including areas such as Visitor Experience, Visitor Welcome, Exhibitions, and Queue & Ticketing.

Your New Role

  • Speak confidently to groups and crowds, and keep queues moving smoothly
  • Share information on exhibitions, events, ticketed displays and membership
  • Check and scan tickets where needed
  • Resolve visitor issues quickly, escalating to the Duty Manager when required
  • Complete security patrols and Health & Safety checks, and submit the reports that go with them
  • Support public programmes, exhibitions and events across the site
  • Work alongside Visitor Experience, Learning, Security and Café teams
  • Help with opening and closing procedures and emergency evacuations when required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why Apply

  • Assignments run from an immediate start until approximately 31st January 2027 or July 2027, depending on the position.
  • That gives you a sustained run in a high-profile visitor environment rather than a short stint.
  • You will work across the museum with a range of teams and build experience that carries weight in heritage and cultural recruitment.
  • Shift patterns vary, from casual and flexible to a rolling rota, so there is room to find a pattern that works for you.

NB should you not hear from us after 5 working days of your application, this means that unfortunately on this occasion you have not moved to the next stage of the recruitment process.
