Come and join our fantastic Visitor Experience team for our Open Day!
We're on the lookout for passionate, enthusiastic people who want to create an unforgettable, joyful experience for our audiences. As a Visitor Assistant, you’ll be the heartbeat of our venue, greeting visitors with genuine warmth and making everyone feel right at home. Whether it’s at dazzling concerts, thought-provoking exhibitions, or lively community events, your smile and proactive spirit will light up every moment.

The annual salary stated is based on the Full-Time Equivalent (40 hours per week). As this job is part time working 12 hours per week, the pro-rated salary will be £9,235 per annum.

How To Secure Your Spot
Come and meet us at our RECRUITMENT OPEN DAY on Wednesday 19 August 2026 (by Appointment only). The open day interview will give you the opportunity to meet some of the team and enable you to find out more about the role and Southbank Centre. We’ll want to ask you about your interest in us and why you’d be great in the role.
To secure your spot in our Visitor Assistant Open Day, please navigate to 'Apply now', complete all required fields and then select one of the available times. Please register to book a time to visit between 10:30am and 3pm, as spaces are limited and will be invited on a first-come, first-served basis. Each session will run for 90 minutes, please arrive at the start time of your preferred slot. Once your time slot if confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email including what to expect when you arrive. Candidates must be aged 18 years or over. Second interviews will be held on Wednesday 26 August. If you are successful, you’ll start in the role on Tuesday 22 September 2026. Please note we are unable to offer alternative dates for the second interview.
